Thanking
Others
Have you ever felt unappreciated?
Maybe people forgot your birthday or you were not thanked for something for
which you gave a special effort. What did that feel like? We all like to
be appreciated for our efforts by our friends, family, and our teammates.
Pay attention to your team members today. Watch how hard some people work and the effort they put in each and every day. Maybe it is not about the job they do, but maybe their personality. Maybe someone is always so pleasant that everyone likes being around him or her. Take the time to let them know how much you appreciate their positive nature and how much it impacts your day. Maybe you could even write out a thank you card to a teammate for their efforts. Be specific about what you observed and write it with sincerity.
When you express your thankfulness this encourages you (and others) to find other positive parts of your day, which will brighten your day.
