A message from the District Manager Scott Hooper…

STAYING HEALTHY

The Postal Service is continuing to share the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance regarding the coronavirus outbreak.

According to CDC, the best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus and to follow these recommendations to help prevent the spread of any respiratory viruses:

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Stay home when you’re sick.

• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, and if your hands are visibly dirty.

These are everyday preventative measures can help stop the spread of several viruses.

Thank you for all the jobs you do each and every day.  Stay healthy, stay focused and stay safe.
