A message from the District Manager...(December)

Everybody is busy this time of year—especially those of us at the Postal Service.  The anticipated increase of letter and package volumes have   materialized and you’re collecting, processing and delivering more packages than ever before.  But I don’t have to tell you that—you’re accomplishing this every day.

Our customers are keeping us all busy; both in our lobbies and at their homes and businesses waiting for those much anticipated deliveries.  You are working diligently to greet customers, deliver packages, and making sure our lobbies are tidy and full of supplies.

The next ten days will be grueling, with the most Peak Season letters and packages being entered into the mail stream next week.  I thank you for all your hard work getting us to this point and I thank you in advance for that extra effort we will all need to put forth next week to “Deliver Cheer” to all of our customers.

I am always proud to be a Postal employee, but I am most proud at this time of year because no one delivers to the American public like the employees of the Postal Service—especially those who work in the Dallas District. Stay safe, stay focused and stay healthy.  We’ll talk again soon.
