Mckinney, TX, Letter Carrier Jeff Jones (center, holding award) was presented the PMG Hero Award from Postmaster Clarence Henderson (far right), Supervisors, Customer Services Gerald Hamilton (far left) and Amber Berger (second right) for his heroic efforts in saving customers from a burning house.

Mckinney, TX, Rural Carrier Stephanie Mosier was responsible for Jeff Jones’s story going viral.  She first posted the story on her Facebook™ account and then on the Mckinney Mom’s Facebook™ page.  She was able to get Jones was on World News Tonight with David Muir and a WFAA-TV segment called, “People who renewed our faith in humanity.”  Jones commented, “I would not have received all the publicity that I did without Stephanie Mosier.  I am grateful to her for all that she did.”
