Sharing a
Smile of Support to Coworkers
Are you stressed, tired, and feeling the
effects of being over-holidayed? Guess what? Chances are so are your coworkers.
So, instead of going onto break complaining about the latest fiasco at the
shopping center sales or going on about how worried you are about finding that
perfect gift, approach your coworkers with good cheer.
Smile, wave
hello, ask them how they are doing, wish them a great day. Maybe you baked some
holiday goodies that you could share or you could include them in your holiday
card mailing. Instead of adding to their stress, find something to do to help
them reduce their stress.
Just hearing a
positive word of encouragement or seeing someone whistle through their day may
be enough for them to adjust their negative thoughts and help them turn them
into a more positive, happy outlook.
Smiles are
contagious. See if you can spark a chain reaction of good cheer this holiday
season.
