Good afternoon Mr. Gilchrease,

I was in your postal branch off of Walnut Hill in Irving, Texas around 10:00am on May 8, 2018.  I must share with you what I witnessed when I walked in the door.  I was greeted by your customer service representative (CSR) with a good morning, how are you today?  And I will be right with you.  Well, I looked behind me because I thought maybe someone came in after me and it was a regular person who comes in all the time.  But no, it was not.  It was only me and I began to smile.  I know this may sound silly but I felt like when I entered the Post Office, I got the same feeling when I go to Walmart and I am greeted at the door by the Walmart greeter.  I just started to watch your CSR.  While I was in line I let the gentleman who was behind me go ahead of me because I wanted to be waited on by the lady who was giving AWESOME customer service.  Once I got to the counter, I had to ask what her name was.  She replied Vita and then I proceeded to compliment her on how outstanding her customer service was.  I asked if she could give me her manager or supervisor’s name, so I could let them know what I witnessed.
I must say as long as I have been going to different Post Offices in different cities and states, I have never been greeted like I was greeted today.  I want to that Vita for putting a smile on my face and actually making my Post Office experience totally different from any other Post Office visit ever.

Please continue to operate an outstanding location and keep hiring awesome customer service representatives.  You should be proud of your team.

Thank you,

Happy Customer
