Duncanville went from a 50% failure rate for Wait Time In Line in 2016 to a 100% success rate in 2017.  The turnaround was attributed to the Clerks knowing to call for help when needed and management making sure someone responds to that request in a timely manner.  Postmaster Stacy Taplin (second right below) credits having a working IP address for her webcam in order to spot when the lobby is getting busy and said communication is the key.  However, the most important thing of all is they made a decision as a team to make a change.
Duncanville, TX, Retail Associate Glenda Richard (center, holding certificate) received her first Gold Star Award from Manager, Post Office Operations Brandi Smith (far right); Acting Retail Manager Randi Klement (far left); Postmaster Stacy Taplin (second right); Supervisor, Customer Services Scott McCain (third left) for a perfect transaction on a Retail Customer Experience.  She was joined by her fellow Retail Associate Linda Huron (second left) and Distribution Clerk Donna Barrera (third right).  Richard started her Postal career in June and is a U.S. Army veteran.  She enjoys coming to work every day and interacting with her customers.  Richards remarked, “My co-workers are great.  They always help me out if I need assistance.”  She recently married in July and has four kids and five grandkids.
