Today I reported back to Little Elm Station after my
training, exam, and on the job training in Carrollton. I have to say I felt not just prepared but
confident. The two hours we are open on
Saturday flew by without much of a hitch.
I’m sure there are many people who had a hand in my success who I have not
even met, but I wanted to single out three in particular. Forgive me if I get the spelling wrong. Kimberly Hill and Sherri Ross showed an
incredible, deeply felt commitment to getting everyone in class ready for the
exam. They kept us on track while
answering every question and covered the subject matter relentlessly. When I arrived at the Carrollton Main Post
Office, my coach Roman Hailemariam was incredibly helpful and took me through
almost every kind of transaction I might face, redirecting other clerks to send
customers to me with transactions I had not yet experienced. I felt blessed by the commitment of these
three professionals in particular and I wanted to share this with you. It is my hope that you might forward this
message to their respective supervisors and if appropriate, place a copy in
their personal files.
