North Texas Processing & Distribution Center (P&DC) Senior Plant Manager Larry Wagener (far left) greeted and presented Mail Handler Bernard Richardson (second left) and his family members with his Official Retirement Certificate on December 28, 2018.  He had over 34 years with the Postal Service.  Over 90 people showed up to honor him on his special day.  Many employees came forth to thank, wish him well, and gave words of encouragement.  A video of Richardson family, friends and co-workers was shown during this celebration that was created by Manager, Maintenance Engineering Support Sarah Hall.  In addition, a domino cake was one of the highlights.  He loved playing the game with his co-workers and family.

It took a team to help make this day a success.  Members of this committee were Donna Holland and Latonya Minter, who did a wonderful job on the decorations.  The theme was cowboy based because Richardson is a cowboy from West Texas.  Eva lee had the very creative Domino cake made.  Rose Greer brought elegance with the tableware.  Lisa Jackson help greet the many guests that attended.  Kevin Nealy oversaw the food and created a very good menu.  Carolyn Lewis an employee in Computerized Forwarding System (CFS) and is Bernard’s fiancĂ©.  She gave insight to help the committee create this great day!  Carla R. Harris Jones help coordinate all the details with the committee.
