Mckinney, TX, Main Post Office Letter Carrier Drew Augustine (above) received a customer compliment.

I would like to recognize our Letter Carrier Drew Augustine for his outstanding service.  We mailed a package from a non-post office mailing location in Mckinney on December 10, 2018, two week before Christmas.  Somehow they mistakenly entered the “send to” address as “our return” address.  The package kept circulating in the postal system repeatedly being returned to Mckinney without our knowledge.  After trying to track the package without success, my wife made a trip to the Mckinney Post Office and was told they would attempt to solve the problem to no avail.  On December 20th, Mr. Augustine personally talked to me and said he had made arrangements to move the package on to the correct Iowa address and would have it sent priority to get it there before Christmas.  The package did arrive on December 24th.  This was extremely important to us because the package was Christmas presents to my 94 year old parents who are unable to travel and were spending Christmas alone.  Once again, thank you Drew Augustine for taking this on himself and making it happen.
