Wylie, TX, Retail Associate Terri Click (left); Postmaster Marsha Mendoza (center) and Retail Associate Bessie Michaels (right) submitted leads through the Business Connect program that generated large amounts of revenue for the Postal Service.

 

Retail Associates Terri Click and Bessie Michaels are always on the lookout for new and expanding business moving into the Wylie area.  With strong support from Postmaster Marsha Mendoza, both Click and Michaels are committed to contributing to the Employee Engagement Program.  Postmaster Marsha Mendoza leads by example submitting potential sales through Business Connect.  By actively engaging the public, Click identified a new customer for shipping in the amount of $31,625 and Michaels used marketing tools to identify a mailing in the amount of $30,998.  In addition, Postmaster Mendoza was able to discuss the advantages of Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) with a customer that resulted in a mailing valued at $8,100.  With their combined knowledge and expertise, these ladies were able to bridge the connection between the customer and added value of the USPS.  Information was forwarded to Business Development Specialist Crystal Stovall who was able to close each of the sales for a combined revenue of $70,723.  The Wylie Post Office maintains its success rate with a strong and engaged team!
