Most people understand that when people are upset or
stressed they can be distracted or make mistakes that can lead to
injuries. The Dallas District Safety
Department and the Dallas District Advisory Committee (DAC) are teaming up to
have a poster contest. The DAC is
composed of members from all the unions.
We want you to develop a poster that will focus on the benefits of EAP
to help those who maybe struggling with stress.
Original art is preferred but computer generated entries will be
considered as long as all elements are original. Elements that are required are:

It can also include information about some or all of the
services which EAP offers which include-
COUNSELING: EAP offers support for individuals who
experience depressive symptoms, anxiety, substance abuse, work related stress
or other mental health concerns. They
can receive this in-person or by telephone.
This and all other services are
confidential and are available to ALL USPS employees and their household
members.

includes assessments, articles, podcasts and interactive online programs that
deliver evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you learn and
practice skills that have been shown to help thousands of people feel better. There
is also an elder & childcare locator on our website to support elder and
childcare needs.
LIFE/WORK
COACHING: EAP offers coaching, which is a great resource that helps
individuals achieve their personal/professional goals with support and guidance
from a counselor.
The winning entry will be printed and distributed to all
Dallas District locations. It will also
be featured in the Dallas Proud Newsletter.
Entries must be received by September 15, 2018 to be eligible. Entries can be submitted by emailing a
