Dallas District Complaints and Inquiry Clerk Kathie Cook (left)
received her “bling” from Business Development Specialist Ron Williams (right)
for submitting a lead to TST Impresso that generated $15,630. She was handling a complaint and realized
that there was an opportunity for the Post Office to gain new business from
that customer. Cook submitted a lead
which turned into revenue for the USPS.
Grand Prairie, TX, Westchester Station Letter Carrier Janie Luna was talking with her son about work when he
mentioned that his company had been having issues with another shipping
company. She asked him to ask his boss
if he would be interested in speaking with a Postal Representative and he
agreed. Luna immediately submitted a lead to Dynamaxx & Gemini/dba
Dynamaxx. With the help of her Manager Patti
Walker, they reached out to Business Development Specialist Ron Williams. He met with the customer and enlisted the help
of Senior Field Sales Representative Kim Williams to close the deal. This turned into $196,100 sale for the Postal
Service. The moral of this story is that
leads are everywhere, you just have to keep an eye out for them.
