Edgewood,
TX, Postmaster Lisa Lyons (above) recently assisted a customer from Fire Hooks
with his shipping needs. The customer was looking for alternative shipping options
when sending hooks to firefighters all over the United States. Lyons was happy
to assist and contacted local Business Development Specialist Jenny Yoo for
guidance.
The
customer was impressed with the local Post Office support, including pickup
service. Lyons stated, “It would seem everyone has a role to play in reaching
out to potential new customers. We all need to generate new revenue to succeed
over the long run.” Lyons is committed to the Business Connect program and is
excited to do her part by identifying new customers. The sale generated $10,800
in revenue.
