District Complaints & Inquiry Clerk Becky Alvarado (above) recently assisted
a customer that ships out headsets to low income families for the school
district due to Covid-19. A local customer inquired about the processing in
mailing shipments of these headsets. Alvarado submitted a lead and Dallas Business
Development Specialist Jenny Yoo followed up on it. The customer was looking
for an economical way to ship the headsets. Yoo reached out to a Field Sales
Representative Ron Williams for assistance. He met with the owner to provide
solutions to the school district’s need for new innovative ways to ship their
products. Thanks to Alvarado’s willingness to ask about the customers’ business,
her lead resulted in over $281,450 of estimated annualized revenue for the
USPS.
