Gold Star Awards

Dallas, TX, DFW Finance Unit Retail Associate Genava Bishop (right) received a Gold Star Award from Supervisor, Customer Services Nadra McCain (left) for a perfect transaction on a Retail Customer Experience.

 Carrollton, TX, Main Office Retail Associate Roman Hailemariam (center) received her first Gold Star Award from Manager, Post Office Operations CJ Tabbot (right) and Officer In Charge John Lindsey (left) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.  The best part about her job is helping the customer.  She enjoys all aspects of her job.  Hailemariam commented, “My boss has really helped me to learn my job.  He has helped me to be become more knowledgeable and to do my best.”

Carrollton, TX, Rosemeade Station Retail Associate Angela Chen (center) received her sixth Gold Star Award from Manager, Post Office Operations CJ Tabbot (right) and Officer In Charge John Lindsey (left) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.  Chen has worked for the Postal Service for 19 years.  She enjoys talking with her customers and building relations with them.  Chen cares about the business and not just selling inventory.  A lot of her customers have followed her from the Carrollton Main Office to  Rosemeade Station.  She remarked, “We have a very good team here.  The reason why I’m still working is to put my son through medical school, so he can be a doctor.”

Athens, TX, Lead Retail Associate Howard Wright received Gold Star Awards on his last two Retail Customer Experiences.

Kilgore, TX, Retail Associate Jeanette Carr (left) received a Gold Star Award from Postmaster Joe McQuiston (right) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.

Texarkana, TX, Retail Associate Steve Guitierrez (center) received a Gold Star Award from Postmaster Donna Shirhall (right) and Supervisor, Customer Services Tracy Moore (left) for a perfect transaction on a recent Retail Customer Experience.

Irving, TX, Valley Ranch Station Retail Associate Monica Toscano (center) received her second Gold Star Award in the past two months from Manager, Post Office Operations Dan Carleen (left) and Manager, Customer Services Glenn Frorath (right).  She remarked, “I try to treat my customers as I would want someone to treat my parents, by providing outstanding service, having patience and service with a smile.” This is the fourth consecutive Gold Star for the Valley Ranch Station.

Frisco, TX, Retail Associate Kathy Ocon (center) received her second Gold Star Award from Manager, Post Office Operations CJ Tabbott (right) and Postmaster Darwin Adams (left) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience. 

Kathy Ocon has worked for the Post Office for five years.  She enjoys interacting with different types of people and servicing her customers.  Ocon is proud of what the Post Office stands for and making sure that everybody gets their packages.

Longview, TX, Retail Associate Gerald Williams (second left) received a Gold Star Award from Postmaster Shiniqua Toliver (second right) and Supervisors, Customer Services Pamela Jackson (far left) and Stanley O’Quinn (far right).  This is the 16^th consecutive 100% score for Longview.

 

Grand Prairie, TX, Westchester Station Retail Associate Binta Tunkara (right) received her first Gold Star Award from Manager, Customer Services Patti Walker (left) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.  Tunkara enjoys helping her patrons.  She does her best to give excellent customer service to all her customers.  Tunkara commented, “I have excellent co-workers who work well together as a team.”

Grand Prairie, TX, Fountain Station Retail Associate Alicia Jackson (right) received her first Gold Star Award from Manager, Customer Services Patti Walker (left) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.  Jackson is a 18-year postal veteran who said the best part is assisting her great customers.  She takes pride in doing a good job and going above and beyond customer expectations. This is the seventh consecutive 100% score for Fountain Station.

Grand Prairie, TX, Fountain Station Retail Associate Teresa Legaspi (right) received her 21st, 22nd and 23rd Gold Star Awards from Manager, Customer Services Patti Walker (left) for perfect scores on Retail Customer Experiences from September, October and November. 

Gilmer, TX, Retail Associate Evonne Hashaway (left) received a Gold Star Award from Postmaster Dale A. Silvertooth (right) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.

 

Coppell, TX, Retail Associate Sarita Tiwari (center) received her second Gold Star Award from Manager, Post Office Operations Randall Joines (left) and Postmaster Lisa Mathis (right) for a perfect score on a recent Retail Customer Experience.

Sarita Tiwari is a 19-year postal veteran.  She strives to give good customer service and enjoys the work.  Tiwari commented, “I like my co-workers and I have a nice happy family at home.”

Addison, TX, Post Office Retail Associate Joy Noderer (left) received a Gold Star Award from Postmaster Alicia Soliz (right) for a perfect transaction on a Retail Customer Experience.

Addison Retail Associate Joy Noderer has worked for the Post Office for 18 years and is a 20-year U.S. Air Force Veteran.  She received a Gold Star Award for providing outstanding customer service.  Noderer enjoys interacting with and providing excellent service to her customers.  She commented, “I like working with a great team.”

 

Garland, TX, North Station Retail Associate Sara Mathew (left) received a Gold Star Award from Supervisor, Customer Services Colleen Bane (right).

Garland North Retail Associate Sara Mathew was presented with her first Gold Star Award for a perfect transaction on a recent Retail Customer Experience (RCE).  She provides first-class service for all her customers.  Mathew has worked for the Postal Service for 15 years.  She remarked, “I want all my customers to be happy, by providing them with great service.  It’s important to have a good team.  We feel like a family.”
