Customer Compliments

Dallas, TX, Downtown Station A/Manager, Customer Services Sheila Roy received a huge  appreciation letter from a premier business customer.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Shelia Roy for the prompt and personal attention we receive from you and we appreciate your assistance with the preparation and delivery of our Registered mail for morning pick-up.

Should you have any questions, please let me know.  Wishing you a warm holiday season, I remain:

Sincerely yours,

Dallas District Complaints and Inquiry Clerk Chutanyjia Ware received a customer compliment for providing excellent customer service to a customer who is relocating to Texas.

Tim Smith lives in Utah, but is purchasing a home in Prosper, Texas.  He needed assistance with purchasing a #3 Post Office box online. The Prosper Post Office verified they had #3 boxes available to rent; however, our online system did not show them as available. The Post Office offered to hold a box for him for a week. That did not work for Smith, as he would not be in the area until mid-December.  Ware offered Smith a solution of having his daughter walk in and rent the box for him.  Once he is in the area, Smith can go in and have his name added to the application.  Smith was very appreciative of the suggestion and sent the following message:  Hello, Chutanyjia did a wonderful job!  She is a caring and conscientious employee and a real asset to the USPS. Thank you! Tim Smith

Richardson, TX, Promenade Station Supervisor, Customer Services Jennifer R. Banks received the following customer compliment:  Thanks so much for ordering the Jimi Hendrix stamps.  I bought two sheets this morning. What a great job you do. Thank you.  Banks strives to give the kind of customer service that she would want to receive.  She ensures different varieties of stamps are available and keeps up with new releases.  Banks commented, “Customer service is the main thing.  We get repeat business by building a good rapport with our customers and letting them know we appreciate their business.”

Omaha, TX, Postmaster Laura Skidmore received a call recently regarding Retail Clerk Fredericka Mathis. “The customer could not contain himself,” said Skidmore.  “He went on and on about Mathis, stating she was one of the best employees the Cookville Post Office has had in a long time.  He asked us to please not lose her; that everyone he talks to says how courteous she is.  He said she is always very professional and goes out of her way to please the customer.”

Cookville is a Remotely Managed Post Office (RMPO) to the Omaha Post Office and Mathis is a leader in making sure all daily activities are completed.  She is a promoter of serving customers with dignity and respect.  We are proud to be associated with all her efforts to make the Postal Service proud.
