Employee Engagement: Dallas,
TX, Computerized Forwarding System department held a contest to see who could
find the most history about the United States Postal Service. Markup Clerk Scott Boyle won the contest and
received a $25 gift card. Some of the facts that he found are listed below.

unofficial mascot, Owney, the well-traveled terrier. Owney was put down in 1897 after he bit
someone and is now on display in the National Postal Museum.
