Desoto, TX, Retail Associate Richard Hopkins (center) received his 40 year Service Award from Manager, Post Office Operations Brandi Smith (left) and Postmaster Linda Norwood (right).

 

Richard Hopkins has worked for the Post Office for 40 years and has NEVER missed one day of work in his Postal career!  He has almost 4000 hours of accumulated sick leave.  Hopkins served in the U.S. Army for six years.  He is proud to work with a great group of co-workers.  When asked what he liked best about his job, Hopkins commented, “All of it.  I have had no bad experiences  ever.  I’m just happy that all of my family is doing well.”  Postmaster Linda Norwood remarked, “He is my back bone.  I couldn’t ask for a better employee.”
