Plano, TX, Northwest Station received thank you cards from Plano West High School who brought them to the station. Several Letter Carriers have received thank you cards along with hand sanitizers, masks, gloves and various small gifts on their routes. Their customers have been very grateful during this time.
Plano, TX, Northwest Station received a catered lunch from Indian American Families and Friends of Plano in appreciation of their hard work during this pandemic.

Duncanville, TX, Letter Carrier Raymond Yarbrough (above) received a Letter of Appreciation from a grateful customer.

Rockwall, TX, Letter Carrier Juan Manual Pantoja (right) took time out to stand for a picture and deliver a diploma to a happy customer (left).  This student sat outside all day waiting for the Mailman to deliver it.

Dallas, TX, Manager Network Distribution Center (NDC) Nimrod Salazar wanted to let his employees know that, not only are they essential, but that he appreciates what they do each and every day.  Salazar solicited assistance from Operation Support Specialist (OSS) Aurora Martinez, and she came up with the idea of adding lights to their windows to display “Heroes Work Here” because our employees are indeed our heroes!

Carrolton, TX, Main Post Office (MPO) Letter Carrier Robert Hoadley (above) was presented with The Quilt of Valor Award by the Quilts of Valor Foundation. The Quilt of Valor Award recognizes veterans as an expression of gratitude for their sacrifice and service to protect and defend the United States of America. Hoadley served in the U.S. Navy for five years and four months. He has been with the United States Postal Service for 11 years and as a City Carrier Assistant (CCA) in Carrollton for three months. We are extremely proud of him and would like to have this honor shared within the United States Postal Service.  Hoadley stated that it was an honor to be recognized him with this award and accepted his quilt on behalf of all the Letter Carriers here at Carrollton MPO.

Greenville, TX, Main Post Office (MPO) Letter Carrier Danny Gladden (above) was given the “You Rock Award” from one of his customers on his route.

Wylie, TX, Letter Carrier Tina Harbison (above) recently helped a customer that runs a home business shipping apparel and jewelry items. She used Rural Reach to submit the contact information to Dallas Business Development Specialist (Anthony Sanchez) who followed up on the lead. The customer wanted the ability to print shipping labels from home along with carrier pickup. Thanks to Harbison’s never ending appreciation for her customers, she was able to recognize an opportunity to help her customer and get them into the right hands. This sale will generate more than $19,820 of estimated annualized revenue for the USPS. Harbison continues to engage customers on her route to identify new businesses to generate revenue.

Wylie, TX, Retail Associate Terri Click (above) recently helped a company that has a t-shirt print shop. Click used Clerks Care to submit the contact information to Dallas Business Development Specialist Anthony Sanchez who followed up on the lead. The customer wanted cost saving shipping options and reliable service. Thanks to Click’s unending appreciation for her customers, she was able to recognize an opportunity to help her customer and get them into the right hands. This sale with generate more than $9,000 of estimated annualized revenue for the USPS. Click continues to engage customers at the lobby to identify new businesses to generate revenue.

Flower Mound, TX, Manager, Customer Services Venora Lowery (above) recently helped a customer who ships electronic products. Lowery used Business Connect to submit the customer’s contact information to Dallas District Business Development Specialist Jenny Yoo who followed up the lead. Yoo consulted with Senior Field Sales Representative Ron Williams. The customer wanted economical, reliable services with the ability to take on large volumes. Thanks to Venora’s efforts in noticing potential revenue and her due diligence to get this customer in the right hands, this sale will generate more than $309,900 of estimated annualized revenue for the USPS. Venora continues to engage with customers in the lobby to identify new businesses to generate revenue.

The Southern Area is #LEADing the Way with the Submit-A-Lead program. Strategic Communications Manager Polly Gibbs (above) submitted a lead for automotive company.  Local Business Development Specialist Jenny Yoo followed up on the lead. The customer was looking for alternative shipping methods for their dealership.  Yoo then transferred the lead to a Field Sales Representative who also contacted the customer.  Thanks to Gibbs this sale generated $89,760 of annualized revenue for the USPS.
