Sustaining the Mission

Over the past few months, our nation has dealt with one of the most serious public health crises in its history. After 245 years the Postal Service is still essential and we are demonstrating our value to America as the heart of the supply chain. And that is thanks to you, our employees.

The courage and commitment you have modeled during these worrisome times has been crucial to our communities that are sometimes confused and anxious about the future. I have never been more proud of you, our employees, than I am right now. As we are faced with new challenges and concerns we will work together to find answers and solutions and continue sustaining our mission to serve and bind the nation.

Lately, we have seen an uptick of positive COVID-19 cases in our area, I would like to remind you that we must continue practicing behaviors critical to reducing exposure both at home and at work by:

  • Washing your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds or more
  • Using hand sanitizer when unable to wash hands
  • Practicing social distancing as much as possible
  • Properly using and wearing face cloth masks / coverings while at work or out in public
  • Enhancing frequent cleaning of our work areas
Thank you for taking care of yourself, your families and our customers. Stay focused. Stay positive. Stay safe.
