Navy veteran who was a Postal Clerk in the military too.

TX, Retail Associate LaKeisha Russell (right) received her second Gold Star
Award from Postmaster Sonji Butler (left) for a perfect transaction on a Retail
Customer Experience. She is proud being
able to help her customers.
On
January 30, 2019, a retirement celebration was held for Frisco Postmaster Ellie
Huskey (center). Manager, Post Office Operations Amanda Morrell (left)
presented her an Official Retirement Certificate. She was joined by her husband Tim (right). Huskey had 33 years of service and her last
day was January 31, 2019, which is also her birthday. She commented, “It’s been a real honor to
work for the Postal Service. I
appreciate all of you.”

The
Wylie Post Office held their 5th Annual Chili Cook Off on Tuesday,
January 29, 2019. The judges were (from
left) Retail Associates Ernesto Martinez and Terri Click; Rural Carriers Amber
Woody and Tony Nerkowski had the difficult task of picking the best
entries. The entries were judged on smell, thickness, color, flavor, and
taste.
The
Competition was fierce and it was very close, but the winners were (from left) Rural
Carriers Nick Malone (second place), Derald Ackles (first place), and Retail
Associate Susan Pearson (third place). Ribbons and prizes were awarded to
the winners, but a good time was had by all employees.
