Springs, TX, Retail Associate Darin Deaton (left) accepted a Gold Star Award
from Postmaster David Martin (right) for receiving a perfect score on a Retail Customer Experience (RCE)
transaction while practicing social distancing. This was the 10th
consecutive RCE transactions for Sulphur Springs.
Canton, TX, Postmaster Bruce
Morphis (above), #LEADtheWay for Business Connect leads recently. Morphis was previously Postmaster of Wills
Point where he was continually engaged with the community by educating them on
USPS product and services. He has
continued that good business practice in Canton and ensured customers are
confident when utilizing USPS products. Morphis
submitted a Business Connect lead for a non-profit Christian organization that
needed assistance. He then reached out
to Business Development Specialist Jenny Yoo, who met with the customer. She
consulted with Mailing Specialist Jay Herring, regarding different mailing
options which resulted in $574,200 in revenue. Morphis continues to engage with
City of Canton to bring in revenue.
Waxahachie, TX, Retail
Associate Lakeisha Russell (above) recently helped a franchise licensed Realtor
who was looking for new and inexpensive way to market her listings. She used
Clerks Care to submit the customer’s contact information to a Dallas District Business
Development Specialist Anthony Sanchez, who followed up the lead. After their discussion, the customer decided
that Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) was an excellent product that would saturate
areas of interest. Thanks to Russell’s efforts in noticing potential revenue

generate more than $15,000 of estimated annualized revenue for the USPS.

the customer. Thanks to Hailemariam’s efforts in noticing potential
revenue and her due diligence to get this customer in the right hands, this
lead generated over $150,000 in new estimated annualized revenue for the USPS.

Nicholson (above) recently helped a customer who ships home goods and body products from home. Nicholson used Clerks Care to submit the customer’s

followed up the lead. After their
discussion, the customer decided that the benefits of First Class Package
service along with Priority Mail would be enough to help their business grow. Thanks

$9,500.00 of estimated annualized revenue for the USPS.

STAYING HEALTHY
The Postal Service is continuing to share the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance regarding the coronavirus outbreak.
According to CDC, the best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus and to follow these recommendations to help prevent the spread of any respiratory viruses:
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Stay home when you’re sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
These are everyday preventative measures can help stop the spread of several viruses.
